Modern bespoke home goods, sculpture, and furniture by Sawyer Home Collection are collaboratively designed and made by Jesse Sawyer and Audrey Laine Sawyer.  Each piece is one of a kind.

Audrey Laine Sawyer is a jewelry artist and metalsmith.   Audrey Laine Jewelry is inspired by nature and modern design, and is handcrafted from start to finish.  She is currently working in sterling silver and incorporating powder coating, gemstones, and found objects.  She uses brass and copper to fabricate sculptural flora elements for Sawyer Home Collection.

Jesse Sawyer is a skilled woodworker, handcrafting furniture, functional home goods, and home decor with precision and care.  His work focuses on clean lines and smooth finishes, allowing the natural wood grain to shine.  Favorite woods are domestic hardwoods like walnut and maple.

The duo works from their home studio located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.

They first met in college in the warm, lush beauty of Winter Park, Florida.  Audrey was studying painting and graphic design, and Jesse was studying fine art, cinema studies, and writing.  Friends first, they both ended up moving to the same area to enjoy the playground of the Colorado Rockies, even randomly ending up as neighbors when Jesse moved into the geodesic dome just down the lane from Audrey’s school bus home.  Years later while living in Asheville, Audrey visited Jesse back in Colorado and they finally fell in love.  She was studying metals at HCC’s professional crafts program, and encouraged him to make the move to see what this side of the world might offer.  After moving cross country, settling in, travelling to South America, and getting married (!) Jesse too went to HCC to study woodworking.

Sawyer Home Collection was born of their desire to work hand-in-hand to create handcrafted, heirloom-quality pieces for the home.
